Calculated dates are an aid, not a determination

Expiry dates, remaining periods and statuses shown by this site are computed from the information you enter, using the purchase date plus the warranty length in months, less one day.

Whether you are actually covered depends on the manufacturer's or seller's own warranty terms, which take precedence in every case. Real cover can differ from a calculated date because of:

• warranty periods that start at delivery, installation, activation or manufacture rather than purchase;
• different periods applying to different components of the same product;
• caps on usage or distance as well as time;
• registration or servicing requirements;
• exclusions for particular causes of failure;
• regional variations in the same product's terms;
• an error in what was entered.
